Course Withdrawal

Published:
Updated:

The withdrawal of a course is an option of a student to officially remove a course/s from the list of enrolled subjects. Note that dropping a course and withdrawing a course are terms that are used interchangeably.
There are quite a number of rules on dropping or withdrawing a course. Some of these rules are as follows;

  1. Any course can be withdrawn or dropped except for PE and NSTP courses.
  2. Courses can only be dropped before mid-terms (see the calendar of activities in the website for more details).
  3. Co-requisite courses must be withdrawn or dropped simultaneously.
  4. Pre-requisite courses can’t be dropped or withdraw if the advanced course is also enrolled.
  5. Not all of the courses enrolled can be dropped or withdrawn. Use the cancellation of enrollment if you wish to drop all enrolled courses.

Dropping of courses in straight BS-MS programs will remove you from the program.
