Eligibility
Qualified Voucher Recipients (QVR)
The following students are automatically qualified to receive the SHS Voucher:
- Category A
All Grade 10 completers from the previous school year (e.g., SY 2024–2025 graduates applying for Grade 11 in SY 2025–2026) from Public Junior High Schools (JHS), including those who completed Grade 10 in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) or Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs). - Category B
All Grade 10 completers from the previous school year (e.g., SY 2024–2025 graduates applying for Grade 11 in SY 2025–2026) from ESCparticipating Junior High Schools, provided they are Educational Service Contracting (ESC) Grantees.
Voucher Applicants (Required to Apply via OVAP)
The following students are required to apply for the SHS Voucher through the Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP) at: https://ovap.peac.org.ph/
- Category C
All Grade 10 completers from the previous school year from private schools who were not ESC Grantees. - Category D
All Grade 10 completers who completed Grade 10 prior to the previous school year, but not earlier than 2016, and who have not previously enrolled in Grade 11. - Category E
Learners who have passed the ALS Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test for Grade 10 not earlier than 2018, or ALS learners who passed the Grade 10 Portfolio Assessment, and who have not previously enrolled in Grade 11. - Category F
Learners who have passed the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) for Grade 10 not earlier than 2016, and who have not previously enrolled in Grade 11.
Coverage and Responsibilities of Grantees
- Grantees may avail of the voucher from Grade 11 until completion of Grade 12, subject to compliance with program guidelines.
- Grantees must submit all required documents on time, preferably ahead of the prescribed deadlines.
- Grantees are responsible for ensuring that all submitted requirements are complete, accurate, and properly accomplished.

Category B: ESC Grade 10 Completer in the previous school year

Category C and D: Private Non-ESC Completer and Grade 10 completers prior to the previous school year from a Public or Private JHS

Category E: ALS QVA

Application Process
- Hard copies of the complete requirements must be submitted to the Mapúa Center for Scholarships and Financial Assistance (CSFA) Office, Mapúa University Intramuros, on or before the officially announced deadline. The submission deadline is typically announced through the official Mapúa University website and the official Facebook pages (Mapúa University and Mapúa CSFA).
If DepEd’s LIS system failed to acknowledge the submitted voucher information, the full amount of the voucher shall be charged back to the students’ account until such time that the issue has been resolved. The office shall let you know about this and you will have to coordinate with you respective school who issued the voucher.
