The Don Tomas Mapúa Scholarship for Undergraduate is a merit-based program awarded to academically outstanding students who exemplify excellence, leadership potential, and strong commitment to their studies. Established in honor of the university’s founder, this scholarship recognizes high-achieving students and supports them in pursuing quality education at Mapúa

Benefits

  • 100% discount in tuition for two (2) consecutive terms, (provided that the grantee does not obtain a grade below 3.0 in any subject, including PE and NSTP, in the first term)

Eligibility

  • Incoming freshmen who graduated with Highest Honors (average of 98 and above)
  • Graduated among a batch with at least 60 students
  • Enrolled in a DepEd-accredited high school in the Philippines or abroad
  • Must have already taken the MPASS

Coverage and Responsibilities of Grantees

  • The scholarship is valid for two (2) consecutive terms only — specifically during the first and second terms of the student’s freshman year.
  • The grantee must validate the scholarship during the second term of enrollment, provided that eligibility requirements are still met.

Requirements

  • Certificate (with the school’s dry seal) issued by the Principal or Registrar containing:
    • The award of “with highest honors”
    • The name and address of the school
    • The printed name and signature of the Principal or Registrar
    • The contact details (telephone/mobile/email) of the Principal or Registrar
    • A statement confirming that the graduating batch has 60 or more students

Application Process

This scholarship typically opens prior to the start of the academic year.

Steps:

  1. Applicants must submit the certificate to the CSFA Office and ensure all information is complete and accurate.
  2. The CSFA will review and evaluate the certificate to determine eligibility and approval.
  3. Once approved, the applicant will receive a waiver from the CSFA confirming acceptance of the application.
