Sibling Discount

A loyalty-based scholarship program that provides tuition discounts to younger siblings of currently enrolled Mapúa students, helping families reduce educational expenses while supporting continued enrollment of multiple children.

Benefits

Undergraduate Students

• 2nd child – 15% tuition discount
• 3rd child – 25% tuition discount
• 4th and succeeding children – 50% tuition discount

Senior High School Students

• 2nd child – 10% tuition discount
• 3rd child – 15% tuition discount

Eligibility

1. Must have an older sibling currently enrolled in Mapúa University
2. Incoming Grade 11, freshmen students, transferees, or seeking another degree who are enrolled from Batch 2011 (1st Quarter, AY 2011-2012) onwards
3. Siblings who have only one parent (only the father or the mother) in common are also considered granted that they can provide proof of relationship

Coverage

• The younger sibling may avail of the discount only if the older sibling is officially enrolled.
• If the older sibling is:
  • Not enrolled, or
  • Already graduated,
    the younger sibling becomes ineligible for the discount.

How to apply?

1. Before the start of the term, the applicant must submit all complete requirements to the CSFA Office.
2. The CSFA will:
   • Verify the enrollment status of the first sibling
   • Validate the discount eligibility of the succeeding sibling(s)
3. For succeeding terms:
   • The student must revalidate the sibling discount every enrollment period
   • Failure to revalidate = waiver of the right to the discount
   • If the student has already submitted a complete application in a previous term, only the Scholarship Validation Form is required for revalidation

Requirements

• Accomplished application form/waiver
• Original or photocopy of the PSA Birth Certificates of both siblings
• Photocopy of:
  • Parents’ marriage contract, or
  • Birth certificate of the common parent
