Request for Overload or Waiver

The Request for Overload or Waiver is a process of the university to process the request of the student to go beyond the maximum number of prescribed number of units for enrollment and/or to take an advanced course together with its pre-requisite at the same time.

The process is intended for candidate or graduating students who wish to catch-up for the immediate graduation cycle.

Processing Time

Typically the process take around one (1) business day or less so long as approval from your dean has been secured.

Eligibility

Only candidate students for graduation or students with 34 units or less remaining in their program of study are eligible to avail of this service.

When can you avail of the service?

The service is only open during regular enrollment period. Please refer to the school calendar for the exact dates of the enrollment period.

How to apply for the service?

Eligible students applying for overload or waiver will need to follow these steps.

  1. Download and fill-out the request for overload or waiver form.
  2. You will need to endorse this to your respective Dean or Program Chairperson.
  3. Once approved, proceed to your respective Program Section Chief to process the request.
