Request for Program Shifting
The primary purpose of a request for program shifting is to give students the flexibility to realign their academic journey with their evolving goals, interests, and strengths. It recognizes that students may discover new passions, encounter challenges in their current program, or identify career paths better suited to their abilities.
There are specific requirements in shifting from one program to another. The following are the requirements of the the target program.

| AR/INT | Cumulative average of 2.50 or better with no record of failure in any course. Weighted average of drawing courses must be 2.00 or better. The weighted average in Math (up-to Integral Calculus) and Physics should be 3.00 or better. All basic courses that are similar to those in the first year level of AR or INT program, including PE and NSTP must have been completed. |
| Arts / SoMDA Multimedia Arts, Digital Film, and the likes |
Submission of a creative works portfolio related to the degree program being applied for. |
Processing Time
Once all of the documentations, approvals, and charges are settled, processing takes around two (2) business days.

Eligibility
A student may apply to shift to another program provided they meet the requirements of the accepting program. Students who failed to comply with academic requirements of their current program may shift to another program.
When can you avail of the service?
The application is open anytime but will only take effect on the immediate next term.
How to apply for the service?
Eligible students applying for this service will need to follow these steps.
- The student must fill out the Program Shifting Request form.
- The student submits the form to the Dean of his/her current program for notation.
- After notation, the form is submitted by the student to the Dean of the accepting program.
- The Dean of the accepting program may request to interview the student.
- The Dean evaluates the application of the student.
- Within three (3) business days from submission of the form or interview, the student may secure the Form.
- If approved, the student submits the form to the Registrar.
- The Registrar prepares and provides the billing to the student.
- The student pays the processing fee.
- After payment, the student files the form with the Registrar.
- The Registrar evaluates the courses that can be credited and updates the records of the student.
