Refund Application

A formal request submitted by students to claim reimbursement for any excess/overpayment of matriculation fees or other charges. Excess or overpayments may occur due to enrollment cancellations, scholarship disbursements, adjustments in academic load, incorrect billing or unused services.

Processing Time

It takes around 3-4 weeks to complete this process.

This service is free.

Eligibility

Only students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the service.

  1. Those who cancelled their enrollment
  2. Those who have excess credits due to over payment or assessment changes due to late scholarship credits.

When can you avail of the service?

Refund applications shall be accepted beginning the third week following the start of classes.

How to apply for the service?

Here are the step by step procedure on how to file for refund application.

  1. Fill-out the refund application which can be downloaded from the Mapua website.
  2. Attached the supporting documents such as approved cancellation form, valid ID of the parent or guardian and the medical certificate if due to health reason.
  3. Submit the duly accomplished refund application form to treasury@mapua.edu.ph

Delivery Method

Checks are made in the name of the parent or guardian and must be claimed.
